NIGHT SKYE

This comforter was inspired by the doodles I had done while watching figure skating in '92.  The fabrics inspired it's title.  This comforter was made before I learned how to quilt, but after I'd figured out how to do the complicated piecing while maintaining integrity of my design.  It was a very easy piece to make and I am immensely proud of it.  With this comforter, I developed a strong sense of my abilities with the construction techniques used in the piecing of complicated patterns full of curved seams.  This is a very large quilt, queen sized, with wide borders to hang over the mattress edge.  This is the last bed quilt I made.
